The AFECAM Foundation
The AFECAM Foundation is the charity effort of AFECAM. It is made up of three arms, namely: CNDF, ARF, and MMF.
Community and National Development Fund
The Community and National Development Fund (CNDF) is committed to meeting developmental needs at community and national levels through targeted social, humanitarian involvement. It seeks to complement public endeavours by reaching out to those groups of individuals that are somehow deprived of the benefits of such endeavours.
Activities of the CNDF
- provide material, financial and logistic assistance to other charitable/socially aware groups and organisations as well as to public structures facing dismal conditions (orphanages, private and public schools, rehabilitation centres, local government offices, health centres, etc.);
- provide resources and carry out labour to improve living conditions for communities, with a focus on providing them with easier and better access to clean water, health care and food
- help former prostitutes and street children throughout the tedious process of regaining their dignity and becoming integrated with the society that once rejected or ostracized them
- set up versatile centres and facilities to accommodate and empower the needy
Academic and Research Fund
A lot of amazingly clever children never make it to high school or to the university because no-one is there to give them a hand. The Academic and Research Fund (ARF) is dedicated to helping such people through sponsorship, follow up and adoption.
Activities of the ARF:
- give grants and scholarships to promising underprivileged students
- facilitate internships and training within organisations at national and international level
- provide a platform/mechanism for child, student and community adoption
Ministry and Missions Fund
The purpose of the Ministry and Missions Fund (MMF) is to provide assistance to groups and initiatives that promote moral integrity, community service and personal development.
